Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has offered public support to teammate Aliyah Boston following news that the star center underwent successful right knee surgery during the offseason.

The franchise confirmed that Boston had a procedure performed by Dr. Corey Kendall of Ortho Indy to repair a lateral meniscus tear. Throughout the season, the team had previously disclosed her condition as a lower leg issue.

Boston dealt with pain stemming from the injury since the beginning of the season when she initially sustained the ailment. Despite playing through the physical discomfort, she completed an impressive campaign that earned her a fourth WNBA All-Star selection.

Over the course of the season, Boston recorded averages of 16.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. She also set a new career high by shooting 40.6 percent from three-point range.

After the Fever officially announced the successful procedure, Clark shared the team’s update on Instagram alongside a message of encouragement for her teammate. Clark wrote that the comeback was going to go crazy.

Boston responded to Clark’s post with her own message of appreciation, demonstrating the strong bond shared between the two young foundational players of the Indiana franchise.

Having previously managed lower-body injuries during her own career, Clark understands the physical and mental demands associated with the rehabilitation process.

Boston is expected to make a full recovery in the coming weeks within a standard six-to-eight-week window typical for arthroscopic procedures, setting the stage for her return ahead of the 2027 season.
