Eight Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Intelligence-Based Operations, Says ISPR

At least eight terrorists were killed during three separate intelligence-based operations conducted by security forces in the Balochistan province, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

The operations took place in the Quetta, Nushki, and Khuzdar districts targeting militants associated with foreign-sponsored groups referred to by the military as Fitna al Hindustan.

In Quetta’s Panjpai area, security forces intercepted an attempt by militants to establish a roadblock intended to disrupt local traffic, resulting in the deaths of five terrorists during the engagement.

A second operation was carried out in Nushki district, where security forces uncovered a militant hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed, and military forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the scene.

In Khuzdar district, security forces targeted another militant hideout through prompt offensive action, resulting in the death of one terrorist. Authorities reported recovering a significant stockpile of explosives weighing approximately 490 kilograms during the search.

The ISPR stated that sanitization operations are currently underway in the affected districts to clear the areas of any remaining militant elements.

Military officials emphasized that counter-terrorism efforts will continue under the national “Azm e Istehkam” vision, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, aimed at eliminating foreign-supported terrorism across the country.
