Police have formally shown Dilip Kumar Agarwala, the managing director of Diamond World, arrested in a case involving an attempted murder during the anti-discrimination student movement.
Alongside showing him arrested in the case, law enforcement officers submitted an application before the relevant court seeking a 10-day remand to interrogate him regarding the allegations.
The legal action stems from incidents related to violent clashes and incidents during the anti-discrimination movement that swept the country, leading to multiple criminal cases against individuals implicated in attacks on demonstrators.
