Pakistani cricketers will have to wait until the conclusion of the upcoming ODI tri-series later this month before the Pakistan Cricket Board announces their new central contracts.
The decision to hold back the contract list comes as the national team’s head coach and the selection committee have requested additional time to evaluate players before finalizing the contract list.
By delaying the announcement, the team management aims to assess current form and player performances during the competitive matches of the tri-series.
Once the ODI tri-series wraps up, the selectors and head coach are expected to make their final recommendations to the board regarding contract offers.
