উদ্ধারকারীরা ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে সমস্যাটি বুঝতে পারেন। কাঠবিড়ালিটি একটি হ্যালোউইন মুখোশ খুঁজে পেয়েছিল। কোনোভাবে কাঠবিড়ালিটি একটি ছিদ্র দিয়ে মাথা ঢুকিয়ে ফেলেছিল, কিন্তু পরে আর বের করতে পারছিল না। ফলে মুখোশটি তার পুরো মাথা ঢেকে দেয়।

দূর থেকে দেখলে মনে হচ্ছিল, মানুষের আকারের ভয়ংকর একটি মুখ পরে ছোট্ট কোনো প্রাণী লন, বাগান আর গাছের মধ্যে ছুটে বেড়াচ্ছে!

কাঠবিড়ালিটিও তখন আতঙ্কিত। কেউ কাছে গেলেই দৌড়ে পালাচ্ছিল। কিন্তু মুখোশের কারণে ভালোভাবে দেখতে পারছিল না। কখনো কোনো কিছুর সঙ্গে ধাক্কা খাচ্ছিল, আবার হঠাৎ দিক বদলে ছুটছিল!

এই আচরণের কারণেই অনেকের কাছে মনে হচ্ছিল, কাঠবিড়ালিটি বুঝি তাদের তাড়া করছে। শেষ পর্যন্ত উদ্ধারকারীরা সেটিকে কোণঠাসা করতে সক্ষম হন। এরপর খুব সাবধানে ধরে রাবারের মুখোশটি মাথা থেকে খুলে দেন।

মুক্তি পাওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গেই কাঠবিড়ালিটি সেখান থেকে ছুটে পালায়। পরে উদ্ধারকারী সংস্থা ঘটনাটির ছবি অনলাইনে প্রকাশ করলে তা দ্রুত ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। অনেকেই প্রাণীটির নাম দেন ‘হ্যালোউইন স্কুইরেল’। কেউ বলেন, এটি ছিল বছরের সবচেয়ে ভয়ংকর দৃশ্য। আবার কারও মতে, আসলে এটি ছিল একটি কাঠবিড়ালির জীবনের সবচেয়ে খারাপ দিন।

In a successful late-night operation, members of RAB-14 rescued a 7-year-old madrasa student named Russel from the Sonotia area of Jamalpur Sadar upazila on Saturday around 8 PM. Two suspects—Md. Sohel (37) and Md. Imran Hossain (22)—were arrested during the raid.

Russel is the son of Md. Moin Uddin from Merua village under Monohorganj upazila in Cumilla district. The arrested individuals have been identified as Sohel, son of the late Ismail Hossain from Gandail village, and Imran, son of the late Dulal from Monohorpur village in Chatkhil upazila of Noakhali district.

According to RAB sources and the victim’s family, Russel was abducted on June 21 from Ashirpar An-Noorani Madrasa in Monohorganj, Cumilla. Soon after the abduction, the kidnappers contacted the family and demanded a ransom of Tk 1.5 million. Following the incident, the child's mother, Rozina Begum, filed an abduction case with the Monohorganj Police Station.

The case quickly came under the attention of both the local police and RAB, who began a joint investigation. However, the abductors, aware of modern surveillance techniques, frequently changed their locations while continuing to pressure the family for the ransom payment through video calls. On Saturday, they instructed the family to come to different places at different times with the ransom money.

Upon receiving intelligence, RAB-14 intensified surveillance and, under the leadership of Acting Company Commander Sheikh Muttazul Islam, conducted an operation in the Sonotia area of Jamalpur Sadar. The team successfully rescued the child and apprehended the two suspects.

Speaking to reporters, Russel’s father, Md. Moin Uddin, expressed his gratitude: “The kidnappers kept asking us to move from place to place. When we reached Jamalpur and informed RAB, they acted promptly. I am deeply thankful to RAB for rescuing my son and arresting the kidnappers.”

At a press briefing held around 11 PM, Acting Company Commander Sheikh Muttazul Islam confirmed the rescue and arrests. He said, “The abductors demanded ransom through video calls. Based on actionable intelligence, we launched a targeted operation and managed to rescue the child safely. The arrested suspects have been handed over to Monohorganj Police Station in Cumilla.”

The incident has sparked concern as well as commendation for RAB’s swift and effective action.

A disturbing incident has surfaced from Muradnagar upazila in Comilla, where a woman was allegedly raped and later publicly assaulted after being dragged out of her home. A 51-second video of the incident went viral on social media late Saturday night, sparking nationwide outrage and condemnation.

The video shows a group of 10–12 young men physically assaulting a woman while she is in a state of undress, screaming for help. The incident reportedly took place on Thursday night in Ramchandrapur Dakshin Union of the upazila.

According to the police, the woman filed a case of rape on Friday at Muradnagar Police Station, accusing one Fazor Ali (38), a resident of Baheerchar Pachkitta village and son of Shahid Mia. Since the incident, the accused has been absconding.

The victim stated that her parents were not at home during the night of the incident. She alleged that Fazor Ali came to her house and asked her to open the door. When she refused, he reportedly entered the house by force and raped her. Hearing her screams, neighbors rushed in, caught the accused, beat him, and recorded a video of the aftermath. The woman was later rescued from the scene.

Police said they had no prior information about the incident until the video began circulating online. Two police teams have been deployed to apprehend the accused, who remains on the run.

Muradnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Zahidur Rahman confirmed that the victim has undergone a medical examination. "We expect to arrest the accused very soon," he said.

He also mentioned that the victim did not initially report the public assault. “Circulating such videos on social media is a punishable offense. We are investigating the source of the video. All individuals involved in the act of stripping and assaulting the woman will be identified and brought to justice,” the OC added.

The victim’s husband has been working abroad for the past five years, and the couple has two children. The incident has triggered intense anger and tension in the local community.

৫৫ হাজারের বেশি মানুষ মারা গেছে, আহত লক্ষাধিক। ইউনিসেফ বলছে, ৫০ হাজারের বেশি শিশু হয় নিহত, নয়তো চিরতরে পঙ্গু। প্রতিদিন কারও না কারও সন্তান রক্তাক্ত হয়ে পড়ে থাকে বালিতে। এটাই কি সভ্যতা? এটাই কি ‘নিরাপত্তার দাবি’?

সবচেয়ে ভয়াবহ বিষয়—"সাহায্য কেন্দ্র" নামে যেসব জায়গায় মানুষ খাবার বা চিকিৎসা নিতে যায়, সেগুলোকেই টার্গেট করা হচ্ছে। Save the Children-এর মতে, শুধু গত এক মাসে ১৯টি হামলার মধ্যে ১০টিই শিশুদের ওপর হয়েছে। সাহায্য চাইতে গিয়ে মৃত্যু—এটা কি মানবতার শেষ রূপ নয়?

আর তেল আবিব? ওখানে তখন চলছে পার্টি, প্রাইড, পানশালার নতুন অফার আর ট্যুরিজম মার্কেটিং।

তেল আবিব আজ ‘গেইফিকেশন’ এর মাধ্যমে এমন এক সমাজ গড়ে তুলেছে, যেখানে পরিবার, ধর্ম, নৈতিকতা—সবকিছুই পুরনো ভেবে বাতিল। সেনাবাহিনী পর্যন্ত প্রাইড প্যারেডে অংশ নেয়—নির্বিকারভাবে নিজেদেরকে ‘মুক্তমনা’ প্রমাণ করার জন্য। কিন্তু এই মুক্তমনা সমাজই যখন শিশু হত্যা, ধ্বংস ও মানবতা লঙ্ঘনের প্রতিবাদে মুখে কুলুপ আঁটে—তখন এর নাম কী হওয়া উচিত?

তেল আবিব আজ একটি পাপের নগরী—যেখানে একদিকে কামনার উৎসব, অন্যদিকে নিষ্পাপ মানুষের রক্ত।

এই দ্বিচারিতা কি আমরা মেনে নেব?
ধর্মের নাম করে রাষ্ট্র গঠন, আর তারপরে সেই ধর্মকে পেছনে ফেলে শুধু ভোগের পুজো—এটাই কি ‘উন্নত রাষ্ট্র’ হওয়ার প্রতিচ্ছবি?

জাতিসংঘ আর আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থাগুলো শুধু উদ্বেগ জানিয়ে দায় সারছে। কাজের কাজ কিছুই হয় না।
আজ ইসরায়েল নিজেই বিচারক, নিজেই শাস্তিদাতা, আর মানবতা তার খেলনার মতো ব্যবহার করছে।

আমরা কি চুপচাপ তাকিয়ে থাকবো এই ভণ্ড, মূল্যবোধহীন, অসুস্থ সমাজের দিকে?
নাকি বলবো—এই যে আধুনিকতার মুখোশ পরা সভ্যতা, এর নিচে আছে বর্বরতা, নৈতিক দেউলিয়াপনা আর রক্তপিপাসা।

তেল আবিবের আলো আজ ঘন অন্ধকার ঢেকে রেখেছে গাজার উপর।
আর সেই অন্ধকারে পড়ে আছে আমাদের বিবেক।

মানবতা কি কেবল ফ্ল্যাশলাইটের মতো—যখন দরকার তখন জ্বলে, আর না হলে নিভে যায়?

লিটন হোসাইন জিহাদ:  হিজরি চতুর্থ সনের তৃতীয় শা’বান মাসে, মদিনার আল-দাউর অট্টালিকায় জন্মগ্রহণ করেন এক বিজয়ী আত্মা—ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ)। তিনি ছিলেন নবী মুহাম্মাদ (সা.) ও হযরত ফাতিমা (রা.)’র পুত্র, এবং আলী (রা.)’র দ্বিতীয় কণ্ঠ ও কলিজার টুকরো। নবী (সা.) তাঁকে কাঁধে তুলে তুলে বলতেন, “হোসাইন আমার, আর আমি হোসাইনের।” এই বাক্য ছিল শুধু প্রমোদ নয়, বরং ইসলামের আদর্শ ও অপার প্রেমের এক ঐশী শপথও বয়ে এসেছিল তার সঙ্গে।

তাঁর জীবন ছিল জীবন্ত এক পাঠাগার — যেখানে ঈমান, নৈতিকতা ও মানবতার উচ্চতা একত্রে বিকশিত হয়েছিল। তিনি কেবল বরাবরের মতো ইসলামী নৈতিকতা ও আধ্যাত্মিকতার প্রাণবন্ত ব্যঞ্জনায় ছিলেন না; বরং তাঁর আত্মত্যাগ চিরন্তন উদ্বুদ্ধকারী হয়ে ওঠে প্রতিটি যুগে।

কারবালার সংঘর্ষ শুধু রাজনৈতিক বা সামরিক নয়; এটি ছিল বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা ও নিপীড়নের বিরুদ্ধে এক নৈতিক ও আধ্যাত্মিক বিপ্লব। ইয়াজিদের আবির্ভাব ইসলামী সমাজে এক গুরুতর বিপর্যয় নিয়ে এসেছিল—নীতিভ্রষ্টতার মধ্যেই ইসলামকে রূপান্তরিত করার চেষ্টা ছিল তার উদ্দেশ্য। ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ) জানতেন, তাঁর নীরবতা মানেই ইসলামের বিকৃতি—অতএব তিনি বলেছিলেন: “মর্যাদাপূর্ণ মৃত্যু অপমানজনক জীবনের চেয়ে শ্রেয়।”

এই আত্মত্যাগ ছিল ইসলামের সার্বভৌমতা ও ন্যায়বিচারের প্রতি তাঁর স্থায়ী প্রতিষ্ঠার শপথ—যা ইতিহাসে চিরনতুন হয়ে আছে ।

ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ)-এর জীবন একটি দর্শন: যেখানে সত্য একা হলেও তাকে ছেড়ে যেও না। কারবালার মাঠে তাঁর নীরব যুদ্ধ মানে ছিল “সত্যের বিপক্ষে দাঁড়িয়ে অহিংস প্রতিরোধে অটল থাকা।” সংখ্যার শক্তি নয়—উদ্দেশ্য ও নিয়তির স্থায়িত্বই জয়ী।

শাহাদাত তাঁর জন্য ছিল আত্মার নিঃশব্দ অপারেশন; এটি ছিল কেবল শারীরিক মৃত্যু নয়, বরং এক আত্মনৈতিক মুক্তির সিজদা। কারবালায় তাঁর মৃত্যুর মুহূর্তটি ছিল এমন এক আত্মত্যাগ যা কেবল ইসলামের মধ্যেই সীমাবদ্ধ ছিল না, বরং মানবতার সার্বভৌম মুক্তির নিদর্শন হয়ে উঠেছিল।

ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ) ছিলেন জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞান ও শরীয়াহে উন্মুক্ত এক বিশুদ্ধ সৃষ্টিকর্তা। তাঁর একটি বিশেষ বৈশিষ্ট্য ছিল—সংগ্রামী নৈতিকতা তাঁকে শুধু তাত্ত্বিক বিজ্ঞানে পারদর্শী না করে তোলে; বরং তিনি শাসক ও শাসিত উভয়ের কাছে সমানভাবে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ ছিলেন । তাঁর জ্ঞান ছিল ইসলামের মূল পথে ফেরানোর মূল হাতিয়ার—যেখানে সত্যবোধ ও শক্তি দানের তত্ত্বে এক পরিবর্তনশীল দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল।

ইয়াজিদ তার শাসনব্যবস্থাকে ইসলামের মসনদ বানানোর চেষ্টা করেছিল; প্রতিরোধের প্রতীক হয়ে দাঁড়ায় হোসাইন (আঃ)। কারবালার ঘটনা ছিল বিবর্তিত এক মানবতাবিরোধী দৃশ্য—জাহান্নামের ন্যায় অন্যায়, যেখানে শিশু, নারী, বৃদ্ধ সবাই নির্যাতিত হয়েছিল ।

কেন কিছু মানুষ ঈমান ও ন্যায়ের পক্ষে মুখ খুলে দাঁড়ায়, কখনো নিজেকে বুড়ো কখনো নিজেকে ছোট করে? কারবালাতেই উঠে আসে তাৎপর্য—চাই সত্যের বাণী, চাই ন্যায়বিচারের দীপ্তির সিংহাসন। যা আবোল-তাবোল বিতর্কের মধ্যেই হারিয়ে যায়; কিন্তু 

আজকের দিনেও যখন মানুষ নিপীড়িত—তা রাজনীতি হোক বা সামাজিক বৈষম্য—ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ)-এর জীবন আমাদের শেখায়: “নীরব থেকে যাওয়া মানে অন্যায়কে গোপন করা।” তাঁর আত্মত্যাগ আমাদেরকে বলছে—তুমি কথা বলো, তুমি দাঁড়াও, তুমি প্রতিবাদ করো ।

ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ)-এর আদর্শে রয়েছে এক অভিনব মানবতাবাদ—যেখানে ব্যক্তিগত মর্যাদা, মানব স্বাধীনতা ও ন্যায়ের বিপক্ষে একাকী লড়াইও সম্ভাব্য। আধুনিক বিশ্বের ঐক্য, শোষণ বিরোধী আন্দোলন ও মানবাধিকারের পক্ষে তাঁর দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি আজও সমান প্রাসঙ্গিক ।

🔶 ইমাম হোসাইন (আঃ): এক চিরন্তন বিপ্লব

তাঁর জীবন ও আত্মত্যাগ শুধুমাত্র ইতিহাস নয়, বরং একটি চিরন্তন প্রবাহ যেখানে ঈমান, ন্যায় ও মানবতার আদর্শ যুগে যুগে উজ্জ্বল হয়।

🔶 আজও প্রয়োজন তাঁর দর্শনের

সমাজ যখন অন্যায়ের মুখোমুখি হয়, বা যখন সত্যরোধ করা হয়— তখন হোসাইন (আঃ)-এর জীবন আমাদের বলে: সত্য ছেড়ে যেও না, নীরব থেকো না।

🔶 অমর আহ্বান

কারবালার প্রতিটি স্বপ্ন আজও বেঁচে—কারণ হোসাইন (আঃ)-এর আত্মত্যাগ আমাদের প্রতিদিন, প্রতিটি ঘড়িতে ন্যায়ের পথে হাঁটতে অনুপ্রাণিত করে।
