Major Wajahat Waheed Laid to Rest with Full Military Honours in Lahore
Pakistan Army Officer Major Wajahat Waheed, who was martyred in an IED explosion in Pasni, Balochistan, was laid to rest with full military honours in Lahore.

Pakistan Army officer Major Wajahat Waheed, who embraced martyrdom while serving in Pasni, Balochistan, was laid to rest with full military honours in his hometown of Lahore.
The funeral prayers for the martyred officer were offered at Bahria Town in Lahore. A large number of attendees gathered to pay their respects to the officer who sacrificed his life in the line of duty.
Among those present at the funeral ceremony were the Governor of Punjab, the Corps Commander Lahore, senior provincial ministers, along with civil and military officials, and numerous local citizens.
During the final rites, an alert contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a salute to the martyr’s body, which was wrapped in the national flag. Following the tribute, he was buried in his ancestral graveyard with formal military honours.
Major Wajahat Waheed embraced martyrdom on October 18 following an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in the Pasni area of Gwadar district while performing duties for the defense of the nation.
The martyred officer is survived by his mother, widow, and a young daughter.
